"Color Our World" is the 2025 Summer Reading Program Theme

The purpose of this program is to encourage the youth of our community to check out books from The Schulenburg Public Library. The 2025 Summer Reading Program is for the following age groups: Read-To-Me (infant to 4 year olds). A parent or guardian is required to read 15 books to the child. Age 5-9, the child is required to read 15 books. Age 10-12, the child is required to read 10 Chapter books. Families are invited to join the 2025 Texas Reading Program! By doing so, you will help your child retain hard-earned reading skills acquired during the school year. Parents should bring their child or children to check out books from the Schulenburg Public Library. ONLY BOOKS from the Schulenburg Public Library can be recorded on the child's reading log. The books HAVE TO BE TAKEN HOME and read. Parents or Guardians may sign their child or children up after reading their books they checked out from the library. The Reading Program begins on June 2, 2025 and will end on July 29, 2025. The library has much more to offer. Come and check out he scheduled events.
