Schulenburg Public Library Ten-Year Anniversary Celebration

9:30 a.m.

• Flag raising presented by the American Legion and SHS band.
• Recognition of City and County Officials & additional special guests.
• Guest Speaker Laurie Mahaffey, Exec. Dir. Central Texas Library System, Austin.
• Dedication of "Caleb's Buddy Bench" given in Caleb's memory by his family.

9:30-11:30 a.m.

• Service vehicles on display - fire engine, EMS Unity, police car, fire truck and an air medical ambulance.
• Local author, Cara Bartek, book signing and slime table display.
• Local artist, Terry Ehler, face painting.
• Numerous games throughout the parking lot with interaction by local mascots.
• And Then food trailer available for drinks and snacks.
• Summer Reading Program sign up in the Library.
• Tablets and other technology purchased with a grant on display in the Library.
• Bricks, T-Shirts for sale.
