The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) Trailblazer will visit the Schulenburg Public Library on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 10AM to 4:30PM as part of the Science Rocks summer library program.  Trailblazer is a 40-foot mobile exhibit trailer housing seven engineering and science exhitits:  "The Power of Weather", "Space Matters", "The Miracle of Medicine", "Energy for Tomorrow", "Gyroscope", "Magical Magnets", and "The Need for Speed."  The Trailblazer is the only hands-on science and engineering museum-on-wheels in Texas.  The Trailblazer engages students of all ages with hands-on projects and experiments related to math and science, creates awareness of careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and provides opportunities to interact with professionals in the community.

TAME is a statewide 5-1 (c)(3) non-profit organization that enables Texas students to pursue careers in STEM.
