HORSES have long been used to help people with physical, emotional and cognitive challenges. They seem to silently communicate their understanding and empathy for their human friends.  They naturally help us calm down, become more centered and to stay in the moment.  They help humans become more aware of their feelings and behaviors and invite us to interact with them in an authentic and honest way.  As prey animals horses are aware of everything around them at all times and tend to mirror our emotions which helps us recognize and reflect on our own needs.  As we interact with them they give us the opportunity to make positive changes in our lives.
