Violence Free Policy

No weapons are allowed on Library property, including the library building and parking lot.  No Weapons – including but not limited to firearms, knives, blackjacks, pepper spray, mace and etc. are allowed on library property.

The Library is a Neutral Zone.

The Library is property of the City of Schulenburg.  The Library is not or ever will be part of gang territory.  The library building and the surrounding parking lots are neutral territory.  This is to insure the safety of all library users.

No gang colors, tagging or graffiti are allowed on Library property.  Anyone violating this policy will permanently lose his or her library privileges.  Anyone breaking the law is prosecuted to fullest extent of the law.  All library users are encouraged to report violations.

Parking Lot Lighting

The Library parking lot will be lighted until 8:30PM.  This is for the safety of the patrons.
